In Matthew 5:14, Jesus states, "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden."
In 2000, nine men decided to live out this Biblical truth by creating a Christian fraternity, whose goal would be to shine this "light for Christ" to the other Greek fraternities and sororities on campus. In order to reach this group of people, they decided to join their ranks, and Lambda Sigma Phi was born.
As with any bright light, many people have tried to extinguish the influence that Lambda Sigma Phi has had on its campus, but because of God's grace and guidance, we have continued to reach more people for Christ and have continued make more disciples of Him.
